Caroline and Olivia have been friends since kindergarten, and started writing together in 2011, when they first came up with the idea for their fantasy novel, Go East on No Road. While they still come back to that project every six months or so and swear yet another oath to just finish it this time, most of their current work (other than Project Canvas) is independent.
Sometimes they write novels or blog posts or poems. Sometimes they just sit in coffee shops and tell each other to 'do the things'. Usually, you can hear them saying “we need a Google doc for that”, or “let’s make a blog for that”. Ten random blogs, thousands of Google docs, and seven years later, they're still...drawing blanks on clever things to say in their bios. But that hasn't stopped them from writing. In the past, they've published a few co-authored books and overseen the publication of three anthologies for the Young Writers of Kansas City. They'd love to hear from you - they read every email and respond as soon as they can. |

I write things because I feel things. Sometimes I put the ice cream in the fridge overnight and wonder why it's melted in the morning. I love collaboration - and the word 'sonder' - and the color blue. If nothing else, I hope I can convince some people that their words are worth saying. I'm currently studying English & Creative Writing at the University of Iowa. My most recent publication is THE DRAWING IN OF BREATH, an inspirational book of poetry and short stories. Look for me on my website or in your local coffeeshop, wearing flannel and drinking too much coffee. |

When I'm not writing, you can find me photographing my sheep or researching politics. You know, normal stuff. I am interested in many topics and find that writing is an outlet for the chatter in my brain. I'm currently in college at Kansas State University, learning more about how writing, creativity, and history go hand in hand. |
